oh i think i forgot to mention a really weird thing. yesterday at the sunday night market when i was having a massage, aaron and dad went for a coffee... they heard a loud noise coming from the street. some guy on a motorbike must have hit the metal pole of a traffic light. so he lay there on the floor with the traffic light on him, not moving and the scariest part: no one helping him! i was shocked when i heard that! even the two police men who were conpletely unnescessary with their annoying whistle wouldnt give that poor man a hand!! gooooosssshhh... so we asked chris benz about it and he said that thais NEVER EVER help someone who got in an accident. it's bad karma and therefore his or er own fault. he said thais had aboslutelqy no tolerance for drunk ppl driving, which i understand. but hellooooo, this guy did not drive into that pole all by himself!! man i would have run there to help... i mean he could have been dead.
yeah so eventually that guy got up, must have been in immense pain :s
fuck you karma?!

into the wild! or: who doesnt love bugs?
hello everyone again! :) i have loooots of things to talk about hihi okay so first of all, we went on a 2-day trip with pai tun. he picked us up at 8 in the morning (no problem since we always wake up at 6) and we drove for like 3.5 hours with one stop at a seven eleven. after some
coffee and chips we were back in the car and pai tun was like "hey aaron. i have something for you, i found it in the car!" and wanted to give it to him. aaron reluctantly took it but let it fall again like whaaaaaaat the hell is that!!!! A HUGE UGLY BUG! i hate bugs! and it fell on my bag :( pai tun laughed his ass off, said it was only plastic and runs with battery. dad was like okay then, its only plastic and wants to give it back to pai tun. yeah turns out our guide is a reeeeeaaaally funny guy. the bug wasnt astic and certainly not moving uts legs because of batteries -.-' !! ugh! so after that little shock pai tun brought us to a village (forgot what its called), there we had lunch (aaron pad thai as always. always always.) and we continued our travels by boat on the... kuong river with 5 other ppl. the boat let us off at some village before chiang mai, after about 2.5 hrs on the boat. so there we went on by elephant haha! wow that's bumpy! last time i sat on an elephant i sat on its head. that's much less bumpy than on than bench-like thing on the giants back. so the ride took about 1.5 hours, and the paths were sooooo narrow and covered in mud cause it had rained the night before... aaron and i saw dad's elephant slide down steep paths, almost loosing its balance... phewwww we were relieved when we hot off that animal haha... so uhhm after ozr little adventure pai tun brought us to one of the hill tribe's villages where we would spend the night. it was a little weird walking through the village for the akha people literally stopped their work and stared at us.......awkward. but yeah, we got used to eachother eventually haha. so our bamboo room balcony (i wonder how stable this construction rly was o.0). anyways, we walked aroun the place a little, trying to comunicate with the tribes granny hahahahahah i'm not sure she really has 10 babies, but ut sounded like it hahaha... chicken babies everywhere, so their food actually lives with them xD oh and they have soooooooo many dogs! thai ppl in general... its crazy i have never seen so many dogs in my life. abour 2-5 per family. i think they shld start castrating them or the dogs will take over thailand! 0.0 haha... uhm so pai tun (i always wanna write pad thai xD) and some other guy from the tribe cooked for us! deeeerrlicious! 4 different dishes yummyummy.
yeah and because we were so exhausted we went to bed early. bed is exaggerated though. i dont think the thing between me and the bamboo floor made any difference. but that wasnt the part that concerned me the most. nope! osh the insects!!! the whole fucking jungle was full of bugs and spiders and snakes and ewwwwwwwww and they were all so loud!! we had a mosquito net but still. i lay awake for like 2 hours, not moving an inch except for when i thought there was something in my ear hahaha.... terrible! i was so scared that i would wake up covered in those ugly little creatures. oh i also sprayed the whole room with antibrumm hahahaha just in case xD i fell asleep eventually, only to wake up
again at 5 in the morning, thanks to those 13 cocks making noise. but who needs sleep anyway, right? okay so we would wait til 7.30 (funny picture: we were gamimg bubble explode and samschtigjass in a bamboo room, hoping the time
til breakfast would go by faster). so after breakfast the plan said we'd go on a "walk" to the waterfall. uhmm... so we "walked" thru mud, climbed that stupid mountain (i thought i was dying) and we sweat like we never sweat before. and our jungle-man or whatever he was, walked up that mountain while making a some kinda bamboo weapon with his knife. we were unbelievably happy that we hadnt chosen the 3.5 hr "walk"! omg... but yeah the waterfall was awesome! beautiful place and really cool water with those small fish innit that eat ur dead skin off your feet hahaa! tickle tickle :D free massage. so we went on by car, heading to the golden triangle where we had lunch first and then took a look at the opium museum :D the golden triangle is one of asia's two opium-producing areas and it overlaps the mountains of four countries (thailand, burma, vietnam and laos). most of the world's heroin came from there up to the early 21st century, but now afghanistan became the world's largest producer. the museum showed tons of different pipes and accessories such as the opium cushion, an opium mat to lie on etc. it also showed the process of producing heroin (pretty exact, i think i'm gonna try that at home haha). so anyway, enough of the drugs :) cause we still had two stops before going home: the white temple and the hot springs. the white temple is simply beautiful, but also funny cause the paintings inside are very time-critical (bush and bin laden on a space rocket, michael jackson, matrix etc). the artist was there too! so we had a small talk, shook hands and then had a look at his paintings in the gallery. very nice! u gitta look it up on google, the temple is rly beautiful, especially when the sun is shining on it *sparkle* :) okay last stop hot springs :) jzt a nice bath for our poor feet, some ice cream and watching old tribe women boil their eggs in the hot spring hahahaha :)
yeah that's about it about those two days. (that was 2 days ago by the way;)) we bought books from an irish man here haha.. he's fun :D and in the evening met chris rudolf yesterday, hung around at the sunday night market and i had a 30min neck massage for exactly 2.-. jesus that woman massaged the crap outta me with her ellbows! i mean yeah i might be a pussy but that REALLY HURT man!! yeah anyway, today i cut my hair for 10.-, aaron and dad played tennis in the morning and we'll all go play some golf in the afternoon (i'm pretty sure i'm gonna suck at it! wish me luck!)

day 1 & 2
okayyyy hi everyone! and sorry for the long wait! we've just been sooo busy and still a little jet lagged. and since i didnt bring my ipad i wasnt very keen to write everything on my iphone haha... anyways. we had 2 very good flights, first zh-bangkok then bangkok- chiang mai. we're now staying at the baan thai resort, only 5 min from the airport. it's very thai style here, everything out of dark wood and we have to take off our shoes at the entrance. both rooms have a small balcony with a view on the beautiful garden (with pool and pavillon). you can check the internet for pictures if you like ;)
so our first day wasnt very busy. we had breakfast at the galare guesthouse, where dad introduced us to pai tun, our guide for the next couple days. they've known each other for yeeeeeeears and therefore pai tun's taking us to places in and around chiang mai for free.
in the evening we got a nice 1hr massage, had yummy dinner and took a walk through the night bazaar.
this morning pai tun picked us up and brought us to the orchid and butterfly farm. well, everyone has seen orchids before, ao that wasnt toooo spectacular. but the butterflies were beautiful! and there were some biig ones too! about as big as both are hands together. after that we went to the snake farm. we walked past two cages with each a cute birdie inside. i was like "oh they keep birds here too! cute. (pause) oh shit, there's a snake in the corner. oh NOOOO biiiird!!! the bird is food! i wanna free the bird! " yeah very sad. but snakes need food too right? cute food :/ and yeah there was a show too, with pythons and cobras... pretty cool.
after that we went to see the elephants at the elephant camp. wow! we watched them bathing, fed them and saw the show. omfg this show was amazing! the elephants played soccer, basket ball, they painted (nice paintings!!) and they seemed to have fun and even make jokes. faaaaantastic! uhmmm... oh yeah we also went so see and TOUCH tigers at the tiger kingdom. big business, says pai tun. really cool though. we made lots of pictures and i think our guide was a big fan of me hahahaha
so yeah... sorry to make it so short. but its rly no fun typing everything on my iphone.. sorry sorry ://

grand canyon
blog draft 7
so today was the last day in vegas cause tonight we´ll have to get up at 3.30 am in order to be at the airport in time and catch the flight that takes us back to miami.
we got up at 7 today, been picked up at 7.55 (the driver was in a really bad mood) and brought to the helicopter airport. so we went on a helicopter ride to the grand canyon! our pilot - a nice blonde lady - did an awesome job! she gave us information about the history of the grand canyon and the area around it. then we landed in the middle of it, just above the colorado river. there we had a little picknick with sandwiches, chips, cookies and drinks. very cool! she said she´d been doing this for six years now and she seems to have fun flying a helicopter three times a day, 7 days a week :D
so then we headed back to the airport and back to the hotel eventually :)

blog draft 6
helloo day 2 in vegas! aaron and i hit the mall today, wow it´s really big, we almost got lost in search of a starbucks! i spent most of the time in forever21 again, i just friggin love this shop! hihi we went to another mall then, just across the street from our hotel, to get a football shirt for serguei. we did find one (it has his own long story) and i found the most amazing shoes haha! i hope there´s soon gonna be an occasion where i can wear them.. theyr´re awesome :) i wrote another load of postcards (i hope some of you already got theirs!) and we soon went back to the hotel to get ready for the show "la reve". and wow it was brilliant! the stage was a circle so there weren´t any bad seats. we sat in the front row, right at the pool and therefore "splash zone" haha seaworld revival? :D no no, no wales this time. but awesome acrobatics and synchronised swimming. beeeautiful! it´s really worth watching it, after all it was rated las vegas´ best show in 2011.
i hope i still get to see a cirque du soleil show sometime in the future ;)

Back in Las Vegas!
wow i´m so sorry it took me so long to make a new post. i had written it 2 days ago, but my ipad just didnt wanna connect with the wifi. so i had to connect my iphone with an external keyboard and type it all in again. so i´ll post yesterday´s and today´s post as well in an hour or so. have fun reading!
oh yes, we´re back in las vegas! we checked in at the cosmopolitan, which is a brand new and supercool hotel just next to all the other fancy hotels such as the belaggio, ceasers palace, luxor, excalibur and so on. so apparently they dont have check-in times here in vegas, so you get your room whenever there´s one available (after all they have around 6000 guests here). you cant be sure to even get the room you booked! so we got an upgrade and our room is fantastic! we even have a living room with a writing desk and a big couch, a small kitchen, and awesome bathroom and a balcony with a sensational view on the water show! the suckie thing is, that we (aaron and me) are not even allowed so SIT in a bar or anything similar to a bar, just because they´re selling alcohol there and we´re not 21 yet. as if we would crash the bar, get drunk and dance around naked. ugh! and there i was, thinking i was old enough for the world, but noooo vegas in my face! haha shit. i still got to drink that very good wine at the fancy restaurant we went for dinner. if they had asked me about my age, it wouldnt have worked, cause whenever we were in a nice restaurant i was so paranoid and and nervous of getting caught, i´d blurt out my real age before even thinking). so yipppiiee, i must have looked like a 21 year old. i think they mistook me for dad´s wife though. but who cares, the wine was awesome! haha. oh and the filet. the FILET! omfg it was sooooo goooooood! i dare say it was even better than in that steakhouse in L.A. wow! everything excellent, even the service. they brought me a black napkin because i was wearing black pants and they didnt want the white napkin to ruin my black pants hahahhhaa... so unnescessary, but still kinda cool. so yeah after dinner we checked out prada, louis vuitton, fendi, gucci etc.....didnt buy anything though. 600 bucks for a shabby scarf is a bit too expensive for my taste. and who needs a scarf in vegas anyway, the heat is burning doooown everything.
back in our hotel room w watched the belaggio water show and the biiiiiig firework afterwards. aaron and i later discovered that he sucks hard at playing monopoly :D tomorrow the others are probably going gambling and aaron and i will take a cap to vegas´ largest mall and shop til we drop, whoop whooop! oh and tomorrow night we´ll go watch a show called "la reve" which is a wannabe cirque du soleil show with water and so on.. the real cirque du soleil shows are all sold out. what. a. surprise. (...) oooh and maybe you know tomorrow´s the 4th of july! big party america. if i could only have a single drink to celebreate with you, dear country. buuuut anyways, me go sleep now, me tired and me tell you tmw how the show was;) and sorry, picture uploading still doesnt work. we gotta live without it! (i gave it up a while ago anyway..haha)
so good night to ya all!

Venice Beach
today we went to venice beach! yeeeahhhh i so fell in love with this place! from what i've heard i expected it to be a place where the rich and beautful show off their fake boobs hahaaha... but instead there were street musicians, artists, body builders, dancers, acrobats and other really crazy people! i loved the mulitcultural and colorful atmosphere... shows going on everywhere, food, small stores, jewellery stands, and so on.. oh and the musicians were so talented! i'll upload a video on facebook, hope it works.
i could have spent hours there, just walking along the promenade or sitting on a bench and watching all those different people.
the show with the acrobats was awesome. they would jump over 5 people standing in a row! crraaaaazy..and they were funny while at the same time making political statements. cool!
i would totally go to this place again if we weren't heading back to las vegas tomorrow morning. so make sure u visit venice beach when you're in california!
