into the wild! or: who doesnt love bugs?

hello everyone again! :) i have loooots of things to talk about hihi okay so first of all, we went on a 2-day trip with pai tun. he picked us up at 8 in the morning (no problem since we always wake up at 6) and we drove for like 3.5 hours with one stop at a seven eleven. after some
coffee and chips we were back in the car and pai tun was like "hey aaron. i have something for you, i found it in the car!" and wanted to give it to him. aaron reluctantly took it but let it fall again like whaaaaaaat the hell is that!!!! A HUGE UGLY BUG! i hate bugs! and it fell on my bag :( pai tun laughed his ass off, said it was only plastic and runs with battery. dad was like okay then, its only plastic and wants to give it back to pai tun. yeah turns out our guide is a reeeeeaaaally funny guy. the bug wasnt astic and certainly not moving uts legs because of batteries -.-' !! ugh! so after that little shock pai tun brought us to a village (forgot what its called), there we had lunch (aaron pad thai as always. always always.) and we continued our travels by boat on the... kuong river with 5 other ppl. the boat let us off at some village before chiang mai, after about 2.5 hrs on the boat. so there we went on by elephant haha! wow that's bumpy! last time i sat on an elephant i sat on its head. that's much less bumpy than on than bench-like thing on the giants back. so the ride took about 1.5 hours, and  the paths were sooooo narrow and covered in mud cause it had rained the night before... aaron and i saw dad's elephant slide down steep paths, almost loosing its balance... phewwww we were relieved when we hot off that animal haha... so uhhm after ozr little adventure pai tun brought us to one of the hill tribe's villages where we would spend the night. it was a little weird walking through the village for the akha people literally stopped their work and stared at us.......awkward. but yeah, we got used to eachother eventually haha. so our bamboo room balcony (i wonder how stable this construction rly was o.0). anyways, we walked aroun the place a little, trying to comunicate with the tribes granny hahahahahah i'm not sure she really has 10 babies, but ut sounded like it hahaha... chicken babies everywhere, so their food actually lives with them xD oh and they have soooooooo many dogs! thai ppl in general... its crazy i have never seen so many dogs in my life. abour 2-5 per family. i think they shld start castrating them or the dogs will take over thailand! 0.0 haha... uhm so pai tun (i always wanna write pad thai xD) and some other guy from the tribe cooked for us! deeeerrlicious! 4 different dishes yummyummy.
yeah and because we were so exhausted we went to bed early. bed is exaggerated though. i dont think the thing between me and the bamboo floor made any difference. but that wasnt the part that concerned me the most. nope! osh the insects!!! the whole fucking jungle was full of bugs and spiders and snakes and ewwwwwwwww and they were all so loud!! we had a mosquito net but still. i lay awake for like 2 hours, not moving an inch except for when i thought there was something in my ear hahaha.... terrible! i was so scared that i would wake up covered in those ugly little creatures. oh i also sprayed the whole room with antibrumm hahahaha just in case xD i fell asleep eventually, only to wake up
again at 5 in the morning, thanks to those 13 cocks making noise. but who needs sleep anyway, right? okay so we would wait til 7.30 (funny picture: we were gamimg bubble explode and samschtigjass in a bamboo room, hoping the time
til breakfast would go by faster). so after breakfast the plan said we'd go on a "walk" to the waterfall. uhmm... so we "walked" thru mud, climbed that stupid mountain (i thought i was dying) and we sweat like we never sweat before. and our jungle-man or whatever he was, walked up that mountain while making a some kinda bamboo weapon with his knife. we were unbelievably happy that we hadnt chosen the 3.5 hr "walk"! omg... but yeah the waterfall was awesome! beautiful place and really cool water with those small fish innit that eat ur dead skin off your feet hahaa! tickle tickle :D free massage. so we went on by car, heading to the golden triangle where we had lunch first and then took a look at the opium museum :D the golden triangle is one of asia's two opium-producing areas and it overlaps the mountains of four countries (thailand, burma, vietnam and laos). most of the world's heroin came from there up to the early 21st century, but now afghanistan became the world's largest producer. the museum showed tons of different pipes and accessories such as the opium cushion, an opium mat to lie on etc. it also showed the process of producing heroin (pretty exact, i think i'm gonna try that at home haha). so anyway, enough of the drugs :) cause we still had two stops before going home: the white temple and the hot springs. the white temple is simply beautiful, but also funny cause the paintings inside are very time-critical (bush and bin laden on a space rocket, michael jackson, matrix etc). the artist was there too! so we had a small talk, shook hands and then had a look at his paintings in the gallery. very nice! u gitta look it up on google, the temple is rly beautiful, especially when the sun is shining on it *sparkle* :) okay last stop hot springs :) jzt a nice bath for our poor feet, some ice cream and watching old tribe women boil their eggs in the hot spring hahahaha :)
yeah that's about it about those two days. (that was 2 days ago by the way;)) we bought books from an irish man here haha.. he's fun :D and in the evening met chris rudolf yesterday, hung around at the sunday night market and i had a 30min neck massage for exactly 2.-. jesus that woman massaged the crap outta me with her ellbows! i mean yeah i might be a pussy but that REALLY HURT man!! yeah anyway, today i cut my hair for 10.-, aaron and dad played tennis in the morning and we'll all go play some golf in the afternoon (i'm pretty sure i'm gonna suck at it! wish me luck!)
